Before the Cruise: Four Points by Sheraton Cocoa Beach

0

The night before our cruise on the Disney Fantasy we stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Cocoa Beach. They have a parking garage and we were able to park the van there for the week and they shuttled us over to Port Canaveral and back after the cruise. It worked perfectly for us and we have always wanted to stay at this resort as it has a surf shop connected, is right next to Ron Jon Surf Shop and has great proximity to the beach. We had a small issue with the air conditioner being loud and after a great attempt by the maintenance man we still had a very loud unit. The front desk staff compensated us with some breakfast vouchers for the morning.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Construction Update September 2017

0

Welcome to our September Construction Update for Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. This month we wanted to answer some questions we didn’t get to last time as well as show more of Trinidad South, Trinidad North and Martinique. We definitely covered Aruba and Jamaica in our August update so if you would like to see more of those sections check out that episode. We also wanted to show the distance between Custom House and the actual resort buildings.

The Coke Freestyle machines for Trinidad South are located in Building 34 and Building 38. The bus stop for Trinidad South is located in front of the quiet pool between buildings 36 and 37. Trinidad South does have a beach but right now it looks over onto the construction of the gondola station.

There are only 3 buildings in Trinidad North so there is only 1 Coke Freestyle machine. It is located in Building 33. Trinidad North is also where the Concierge room is located. It can be found in room #3109.

Martinique also has 3 buildings since the other three have been demolished. For that reason it only has 1 Coke Freestyle Machine and it is located in building 25. Martinique is probably where you see the most impact of the construction. It is on both sides of you. In order to get to your bus stop you need to pass by construction areas and it is quite a walk around the construction to get to the Centertown area and the main feature pool. They do have a grab and go location and their own quiet pool but I would imagine that you would feel a little separated from the rest of the resort.

The Coke Freestyle machines require a chipped cup or mug in order to get soda or juice but a great tip especially for those our walking the resort on a hot Florida day you can get ice and water from the machine without the chip.

We also realized reviewing our previous episodes that we have not gone in and shown the feature pool. Well we are going to rectify that right now. In our opinion this is one of the best feature pools on property. It is a zero-entry pool with 2 slides and water cannons. It also has an adjacent kids splash area that is a lot of fun.

We continue to try and show you what we can in regards to what you may expect when you visit the resort. If there is something that we are missing or if you still has questions feel free to comment below or send us a message on Facebook or Twitter. We do these updates to keep you the viewers informed so we need your help to know what it is you would like us to show.

Cameron Finally Rides Star Tours

0

Cameron is finally tall enough to ride Star Tours. It took some convincing because he was a little nervous about riding but finally he did it! He was very happy that he did because he really liked it. We all went on it again so we could all ride together. I think Cameron has found a new favorite!

Marketplace gets its own Star Wars merchandise location as Star Wars Trading Post replaces Marketplace Fun Finds at Disney Springs. It is much larger than the Star Wars merchandise location on the West Side.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Construction Update September 2017

0

Welcome to our September 2017 Construction update for Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. To recap from past episodes Cabanas Building 9B has been demolished to make room for the new 15 story tower. Cabanas Building 8A has been refurbished completely along with Ranchos Building 7A. Right now we are in the second month of renovations taking place at Casitas Building 1 and 3. It just so happens that my schedule only allowed us to do our walk on the Labor Day holiday. I understand that this doesn’t really give you the full sounds as it would during a work day for the construction we will be able to show you the areas that the construction is impacting and the overall feel of the resort for this month.

If you enjoyed this episode we would love it if you would give us a thumbs up and be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss a future episode. You can also find us over at Facebook and on Twitter!

Have you recently stayed at Coronado Springs? We would love to hear from you about your experience. Comment below or message us at Facebook or Twitter. The info is below.

Cameron’s Playground Review: Disney’s French Quarter Resort Playground

Cameron’s Playground Review: Disney’s French Quarter Resort Playground

Theme Park Brother Cameron LOVES playgrounds! What kid doesn’t? We decided to start a new series where Cameron will try out different playgrounds, give you a tour, and let you know what he thinks!

Today’s playground is located at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. It is a small playground area between the lobby and the pool. Like most things at this resort the playground is convenient to get to and easy to just stop and play for a bit. Cameron always likes to play at this playground and whenever we visit French Quarter it is a must!

Riding Animals at the Mall!!! LOOKOUT!!!

0

Cameron had a lot of fun at a mall in St. Augustine! He was able to ride a motorized animal around the mall! It didn’t take him long at all to get the hang of it but there were a few close calls. Have you ever seen these animals? It was a first for us but we think it is a really neat idea!
